Organizational Independence

The Nash Group Community Foundation, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its own Board of Directors, separate finances, and distinct charitable mission. The Foundation operates under its own governance structure and maintains full independence in all programmatic and financial decisions.

In the interest of transparency, we disclose that certain members of Foundation leadership may also hold positions with other organizations. All such relationships are disclosed to our Board of Directors and managed in accordance with our Conflict of Interest Policy to ensure that all Foundation decisions are made solely in furtherance of our charitable mission.

Any transactions between the Foundation and related parties, if any, are conducted at arm's length and at fair market value, with appropriate Board review and approval as required by our governance policies and applicable law.

Tax-Exempt Status

The Nash Group Community Foundation, Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
